Digdirt is the 50th level in Chip's Challenge 1. This is a very fast exercise on digging out chips from bugs and paramecia; many routes are usable to achieve this result, as the level is based entirely on dirt and 16 cells with these two monsters alternately guarding one chip each.

The easiest route starts in cell 7, then initially moves by cell D 2L [1] D 2R. Rather than simply wait [2] to enter cell 16, open the center but then dodge D, so that the paramecium exits to the west. Continue 3U, with a [1] pause before cell 8 and a dodge R before cell 4, then 2L, and enter the center and move U rather than wait [2] in cell 1 to let this paramecium go by. Finish with D [2] R, then exit below.

Digdirt's completion unlocks the first decade message that is found in both MS and Lynx:<br>Picking up chips is what the challenge is all about. But on the ice, Chip gets chapped and feels like a chump instead of a champ.

Digdirt's completion unlocks the first Decade message that is found in both MS and Lynx: Picking up chips is what the challenge is all about. But on the ice, Chip gets chapped and feels like a chump instead of a champ. This references I Slide, a pure ice level, coming up next.
