Escape from Chipkatraz is the 127th level in Chip's Challenge Level Pack 2. It is one of John Matthews's few levels, and it's a very easy level to win; Chip only has to deal with the teeth and find the red key in the dirt behind one of the yellow locks. The AVI uses even step; while this is behind one move against the odd step route for the first few seconds, the move is lost on the gliders in any case.

Walk out, move to the teeth below, and step L 2R to sneak past them. To the right and to the bottom are the yellow and green keys; now, collect block 4 and move it north until Chip can open the upper yellow lock. Move 2R DR to reveal the key, then move the block 2U further, open both the red and green locks, and push this block to the water. Now, Chip has to get the other four through.

Immediately collect block 1, then move block 5 3L, and continue RURULRD and move block 2 out. To finish, move block 3 2L, block 5 through, and then finally block 3 L and up through to reach the exit.

Fix for Lynx
The buried red key makes this level unplayable in Lynx. CCLXP2 replaces this with a key under a block.
