dat2c2g is a program developed by Chuck Sommerville. It will convert a CC1 levelset, stored in DAT format, into a CC2 set, using C2G and C2M files. The C2M files are labelled map##.c2m where ## is the level number.
The program will also output a text file called warnings.txt, which lists all the errors during conversions. This includes mainly incorrect button questions, and unused tiles (including ice blocks).
dat2c2g received mixed reviews from players. While some praised it for making it easy to port CC1 levels to CC2, others experienced issues getting the program to run, seeing errors about missing DLLs.
