A ball is a monster in Chip's Challenge which moves in a straight line. When any obstacle blocks it from continuing on this path, the ball immediately bounces backwards and continues to move in that direction. If both directions are blocked, the ball will stop moving until something is opened.

The ball was first seen in level 5 of Chip's Challenge 1, Lesson 5, cloning fireballs in front of a red key.

Balls will die if they hit a destructive obstacle such as water or bombs. Balls can also change polarity using ice corners, force floors, railroad tracks, red teleports, or green teleports.
