'''Talk pages''' are used for communication between editors in a wiki. There are two kinds of talk pages — standard talk pages, such as the ones used to discuss an article, a template, a category, etc., while user talk pages are used to communicate with other users or leave them messages.

== Accessing a talk page ==
To access a talk page, look for a tab labelled ''Talk'', ''Discussion'' or ''Discuss this page''. These links will be found either at the top of the page or on the left hand side (near ''Edit this page'').

The namespace of a talk page is ''Talk:'' with the page's title after the namespace. If the main page has a prefix then talk is added after this prefix. 

If someone leaves a message on your talk page, the alert "You have new messages" is automatically displayed on all pages you view until you view your user page.

== Using talk pages ==
You should sign and date your contributions on all talk pages by typing four tildes: <nowiki>(~~~~)</nowiki>, which will yield something like this: Example {{CURRENTTIME}}, {{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{CURRENTDAY}} {{CURRENTYEAR}} (UTC). 

The "Post a comment" feature (the small "+" sign on a separate tab, at the top of a talk page) allows you to start a new section without needing to edit the whole page. The section header becomes the edit summary at the time you save the page, so there is no edit summary displayed when you use this feature.

== Formatting ==
If you are the first to post a comment, you don't have to do anything. However, after this, it is recommended you use colons (':') at the start of your comment. For example:

For instance, in the level https://wiki.bitbusters.club/Rink, "retraced paths" are not always correct (opposite of U is not always D but U too); under "moves" it reads "In mazes with many dead ends such as Chipmine or Mishmesh, writing every move would be cumbersome; directions inside parentheses indicate paths that will be retraced directly after the parentheses close." It's NOT CORRECT (for "Rink") and it would not be "cumbersome", etc. Plus, English is not my mother tongue and I don't want to read something that complicated and long, sometimes i'm not sure about what I'm reading! :::I don't necessarily stand by that notation or even claim that it is correct, its just what the original wiki editors took and ran with. I personally agree with you that there are much cleaner ways to present the solutions. I brought this up in our discord server ([https://discord.gg/Xd4dUY9] if you want to join) and there was general agreement that articles could be improved with a simpler notation. I believe another editor is editing the Rink page specifically to simplify it, but for the rest of the levels, we will definitely need to rely on other editors to get involved - it is likely too big a job for one person to tackle themselves.
