Slime is a hazard introduced in Chip's Challenge 2. Chip, Melinda, sliding time bombs, and every monster, except for blobs and ghosts, will die if they step in slime. If a blob touches slime, it will spread it to adjacent floor tiles that it travels to, potentially covering up wires. A blob will stop spreading slime once it steps onto another acting floor tile. Ghosts are unaffected by slime. Slime can be removed by pushing a block or ice block over it. Directional blocks will disappear when pushed into slime.
