Fake exit tiles were not used in [[Chip's Challenge 1]], as were [[Burned Chip]]s, [[Drowned Chip]]s, [[Swimming Chip]]s, or [[not used]] tiles, as none of those tiles are compatible with the original [[Lynx]]. Fake exits are read as real exits in [[Tile World]] Lynx, and can be entered like any other exit.
Fake exit tiles are used for the endgame sequence, but do not appear in any [[Chip's Challenge 1]] levels. Like [[Burned Chip]]s, [[Drowned Chip]]s, [[Swimming Chip]]s, or [[not used]] tiles, fake exits are not compatible with the original [[Lynx]].

In early versions of [[Tile World]] Lynx, fake exits were read as real exits, and could be entered like any other exit. However, this has since been changed, and they are now [[acting wall]]s.
