	Initial discussions regarding the pack began in October 2018, although these plans were put on hold in favor of creating a [[Chip's Challenge 2 Level Pack 1\|CC2 pack]] instead. After a few additional false starts, discussions resumed in January 2021, with a call for applications to join the staff. Submissions opened on 10 April 2021 and closed on 10 October 2021, with a total of 3,587 levels across 65 unique levelsets submitted.
