A credits level is a level in any levelset specifically to thank the people who made the levelset (and sometimes even Level editors or the game Chip's Challenge itself) possible, like the credits on a movie or TV show.
Examples[edit]
- The most famous example is Thanks to... in CC1. The level was added to the Microsoft version of CC1 to thank the people who ported Chip's Challenge to windows from the original Lynx Version.
- Although not technically a level, the unfinished NES port has a "credits level" of sorts: typing in the password CRED will display two screens of credits text.
- There are some other examples in some Custom level sets.
