Terrain generally refers to any tile in Chip's Challenge that does not move. The category is more precisely defined in Chip's Challenge 2 (more generally, the Steam ruleset) based on the way the game is coded. Specifically, terrain in CC2 excludes static objects, which are items and item-like tiles.
