Legality?Edit
Is fullsec legal for scorekeeping? I didn't think it was - for example, a level that uses the bug where you use the mouse to die via a monster, and the level restarting puts the monsters ahead a space... In regular play, the clock will also have ticked down a step, but if fullsec was used you'd still have that full second... Come to think of it, I wonder how Tile World handles this... - The clock won't tick down a step along with the Spontaneous Monster Glitch move, but there is no way to set the clock at the same time as a death. Meanwhile, there's the manner of the level bonus. Octavarium64 00:20, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- Well, no matter when you die, fullsec would still give the full first second, so there's no need to set the clock... And the level bonus wouldn't really matter - the time itself would still be accepted (that is, if people didn't know that it was due to fullsec and that bug...). Pillowpc2001 01:46, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
It's legal. The documentation for the patch mentions this in the second bullet for the v1.1 changes. I also verified this in-game. Jamesa7171 02:11, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, I didn't know it was updated to deal with the glitch properly... Does it still work right even when Chip dies after a full second - in other words, real CC would tick down a full second on the restart, but does fullsec lose that second then too? Pillowpc2001 15:35, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- Yep. Jamesa7171 16:35, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
