Transmogrifier

The transmogrifier is a tile introduced in Chip's Challenge 2. If certain objects step over this tile, they will be transformed into other objects.

Transformations

The following transformations are cyclic, i.e. the last entry in the list will transform into the first entry:

• Chip, Melinda
• Mirror Chip, Mirror Melinda
• Block, ice block
• Purple ball, walker
• Fire box, ant, glider, centipede
• Blue tank, yellow tank
• Red teeth, blue teeth

Blobs will randomly choose one of the following to transform into:

• Purple ball
• Walker
• Fire box
• Glider
• Centipede
• Ant
• Blue tank
• Red teeth

The following monsters are not affected by the transmogrifier:

• Floor mimics
• Rovers
• Ghosts
