Continue to the left until you are standing on the column to the left of the [[exit]] - this column is the only one that is missing an invisible wall guarding the chips above. Return through the invisible walls on the same column you entered through, the second from the left, and walk down towards the bottom of the level. For this area, the column that will let you through is the leftmost column, so if you go to the left around the exit area, you can simply head straight to the bottom. Go down until you are on the same row as the chip in the SW, then play 4L 2U to reveal another secret passage into the western wing of the level. These three chips are guarded completely by appearing walls, so there is no other way to reach them other than going through the southwest area. Grab these chips and then return to the southern area, and collect the three chips there and continue holding right to pass through the fake wall leading to the final chip in the SE. With all the chips in tow, head all the way left until you reach the blue wall; from here, play 3U 2R 3U to finish the level.

Facades is the 5th level in Chip's Challenge Level Pack 1, and the fifth of the lesson levels. Here Chip will learn about all the various types of walls; including blue walls, appearing walls, invisible walls, and recessed walls.

Thankfully, Facades is not terribly difficult to complete, with the fastest solve clocking in at only 18 seconds. The majority of the level is simply chip collecting, as the level is designed for the player to focus on experiment with different types of walls by bumping into them. The optimal route follows a general counterclockwise approach, starting with the recessed walls and ending at the bottom areas; assuming knowledge of which tiles do not have invisible walls, a score of 232 should not be difficult to obtain.

TriviaEdit

  • Originally, the blue wall leading to the chip in the NE was in the recessed wall section. However, as this may have seemed a touch unfair for a beginner player, the fake blue wall was moved to an area that could be returned to, namely the uppermost area with the three chips.
